About me
I started my teaching career in Southern California teaching 7th-12th Grade English and in 2020 moved to Texas. After 2 years in DISD, I moved to Irving ISD and joined the English 1 team at Nimitz High School. There I continued to refine my teaching process and teacher leadership as Team Lead and Department Chair. This year I was fortunate enough to join the RLA Curriculum and Instruction team at Irving ISD. I have been able to use the skills that I have gained in my 10 years of classroom experience to work with teachers and teams to refine their teaching and PLC process. I have a passion for working with new teachers and partnering with campuses to create quality tier 1 instruction that is engaging and effective.
